Producer tweets cryptic info on Batman vs Superman characters
There has been speculation on which characters from DC comics will be appearing in the sequel to Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman. While it has been confirmed that obviously Superman, played by Henry Cavill, and Batman, played by Ben Affleck, will be in the film, it was confirmed yesterday that Gal Gadot would be playing Wonder Woman. Producer Daniel Alter recently tweeted about Nightwing and Doomsday possibly making an appearance in the latest film. Although Nightwing has been a suspicion for months, there has been no mention of the character in any of the previous talks. Daniel also cryptically tweeted, “Need to talk to some people tonite about #doomsday in #BatmanvsSuperman.” This could mean two possible things: either he is pitching the idea of Doomsday or wanting the idea to be trashed. Doomsday is a villain from the Superman comics and has many powers. Batman vs Superman is to be released July 17, 2015. ~Brie Davis
