Superman IV

Christopher Reeve’s desire to see peace on Earth was so strong that he guided the story of his final appearance as the Man of Steel. Superman IV sees the hero rid the world of nuclear weapons by gathering them up and throwing them into the sun.

Lex Luthor, sensing an opportunity for profit, concocts the threat of war and creates Nuclear Man to battle Superman. The destructive battle takes place across the face of the Earth, threatening to destroy sites such as the Statue of Liberty and the Great Wall of China, and nearly causes the eruption of Mount Etna. But, in the end, Lex Luthor fails yet again to break down his nemesis, Superman.
