Batman vs Superman to face off against Captain America 3
It looks like it is going to be a battle of DC vs. Marvel in 2016. The highly anticipated Batman vs Superman will open the same day as the third Captain America movie, on May 6, 2016. Marvel confirmed this week that Captain America 3 will hit theaters the same day as Warner Bros.’ latest film. However, it’s expected that at least one film will switch release dates in order to avoid direct competition at the box office, according to a report from Variety. Marvel fans won’t have to wait too long to see Captain America on screen again, as Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to be released on May 1, 2015.
