Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel followup, which was referred to as Batman vs. Superman has been officially titled as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on May 6, 2016. The highly anticipated motion picture stars Henry Cavill, playing the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck, playing Bruce Wayne/Batman. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Some of the Man of Steel actors, including Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will also star in this followup. As previously announced, Jesse Eisenberg will take on the character of Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons will play Alfred. The film is written by Chris Terrio from the screenplay by David S. Goyer. Serving as producers are Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder.
