The Man of Steel can leap tall buildings in a single bound, is more powerful than a locomotive, and is faster than a speeding bullet. When you look up in the sky, and think you see a bird, or a plane, it’s Superman flying to the rescue (probably to save Lois Lane). His powers are the result of being close to the yellow sun of the Earth as opposed to the red sun of Krypton. His home planet of Krypton was destroyed shortly after he was blasted into space on a spaceship by his father, Jor-El. Now, he calls Earth home and has disguised himself as mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent. When there is trouble, Clark Kent can be seen running into a phone booth, and out comes Superman to save the day.
