Wonder Woman’s role in Batman vs Superman more of a cameo
With the casting news of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in the newest Superman movie, Batman vs Superman, the film has started to look like more of a Justice League movie than a Superman film. Although a lot of heroes have been cast, it does not mean they all have large parts in the film. According to Batman-On-Film, Batman vs Superman is indeed a Superman film. “The film’s bad guys are Superman villains and Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel/Clark Kent is the main character. Of course, Batfleck will play a major role in the movie; but I suspect that one of the main reasons for Batman’s inclusion is to establish a new “DCU on Film Batman” and set up future solo Bat-flicks. Same goes for Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman – though I think her role is much smaller than BA’s Batman.” Batman-On-Film also describes Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman role like the one Scarlett Johansson’s Black Window played in Iron Man 2, calling it a “cameo-plus.” The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams and Diane Lane. ~Brie Davis
